Kids are naturally curious about many things. They are full of energy and want to have fun. Each child is unique and has their skills, personality, and interests. As parents, it is our job to help foster their skills and interests. We want them to always be happy and healthy. We need to provide them with a wealth of experiences and opportunities to explore their interests and learn about themselves. Gymnastics is a safe, fun way for kids of all ages to get physical exercise, have fun, and meet new friends.
A common question that parents often have is “When should I sign my child up for gymnastics?” This is a good question to ask. You do not want to put them too late into a class when other students are more advanced than they are or when they are not ready to try gymnastics. The age of your child does not matter. You can always sign them up for gymnastics. The best answer, in our opinion, is to sign them up when they feel ready for it. However, according to USA Gymnastics, the optimal time to get children into gymnastics is between the ages of two and five.
At Tumble Jungle, we provide gymnastic classes in the Darien, CT area. Gymnastics helps children to develop muscle flexibility, strength, and endurance. It also provides them with an opportunity to have fun while getting physical exercise and making new friends. Children often are interested in gymnastics because of the Olympics, they’ve seen videos of people jumping, bouncing, and flipping through the air, or they have friends who are in it. If your child is interested in signing up for kids’ gymnastics, contact us to learn more about our kids’ classes!
